The following table of drug policy activities maps out NS activities on the objectives of the EU Drug Strategy and Action Plans. The list is not exhaustive and the Rome Consensus Coordination welcomes further information about National Societies’ programmes.

* Finland The Drug and Alcohol programme includes prevention work and early intervention. Volunteers act as counsellors in schools and various networks in their own expertise.    
France Prevention programmes aimed at the youth (in schools and outside schools) but also at the general population and prison inmates.   Needle exchange programmes and outreach activities
Great Britain     Community Based First Aid project aimed at reducing the vulnerability of injecting drug users through both first aid skills and provision of Naloxone

Italy Prevention of drug use in high schools. Hotline for drug-related information. Romania     The NS is in the process of setting up a Harm Reduction programme – prevention of infection through used needles. The project was designed in partnership with one NGO specialised in drug abuse “ALIAT” and with National Antidrug Agency
